Moment of silence...

The west is so tough and I knew we were gonna lose some people and some good people cause thats the nature of it. But I really liked the Suns. Last night they were ousted by The Spurs. Damn...this was one of the few games that I watched practically from beginning to end. It went past my normal bedtime/download time and I didnt want it to be in vain. It's a shame. Tony Parker was insane! Like there were things he was doing that I couldn't believe. I think he's a little bit of an actor or there was some definite homecooking. I can't imagine you diving into the paint and throwing himself around and not getting fouled? What happened to control? Offensive foul maybe? Some no calls cause you out here jumpin off the top rope on cats...??! They were calling these touch fouls that were so weak to me so I do have a little bit of a gripe. I can't say that it would changed the outcome of the game cause there were certainly some screwups by the Suns. Steve Nash wasn't dropping those dime passes and assists and things seemed a little out of sync. His 3's werent as butter as I would have liked and I just thought he should have taken over. Ah well I heard Diantoni isnt coming back either....we'll see how this plays out...

Injustice...but are you surprised?

A couple of things took place over these last couple of days that I havent gotten a chance to talk about. As things go, this took place in New York but I know its reached beyond that where the murder of an unarmed man by the name of Sean Bell brought about an uproar in New York as all the officers were acquitted. They fired off 50 shots!! But as most people in NY knew in the back of their heads it didnt look like anything was gonna happen to them. Call it politics, call it what you want, but no one wants to send these cops to jail, at least no one in the judicial system. Let's hope that it goes under federal investigation and then we can really get some justice.

A couple of things crossed my mind

I started this awhile ago with the Suspects Haps and I think a few people got a kick out of it. So with that in mind, I just brought it over to the blog page. You will see them bothin one capacity or another.

So a couple of things crossed my mind this week....

I'm really excited when it comes to sports......
I really enjoy the good weather in the springtime....
I think I'm really hitting my stride now in life.....
I'm already focused on 2010......
I hope that this generation "gets" it because it can be bad later on......
Its a shame that that people still can't get a fair trial in the judicial system...

Its been a long time

Since I left you...So I have been without one of my turntables for a few weeks now. Shout out to J Rawls for letting me borrow the NuMarks. I had a couple of gigs during that time and they definitely came in handy. But I'M BACK!!! Dear 1200's oh how I missed you....The Rich NYCe show will be back with some new fire soon enough...Stay tuned.

A minute

Seems like its been a long time since I posted to this blog. And I will say this. It has! Not to say that I've forgotten about you all and the people that may peruse it from time to time, but I have been so busy. Then one thing leads to another and then Im like...."I'll get it tomorrow" and you know how that goes...
Look, I'm not making excuses...but I'm just saying, I'm sorry. So how have you been(trying to change the subject)? Basketball playoffs are about to get going and I'm excited about that. I think the biggest challenge/most exciting part of this years playoofs is watching the West beat each other up. I have to say this though. I'm picking Boston right now, with Cleveland as my 2nd choice. Boston cause its close to NY and Cleveland cause its close to Columbus. I'm a diehard Knick/Nets fan but I at least have to pick a team thats in the playoffs. We'll see how it goes...
As I said, Im gonna get back on my grind and send you some more random thoughts, just to let you know I'm still here...
